This letter is in regards to the city staff being against a possible Kin 4 being built. Fact: There are wait lists in every division of minor hockey making it impossible for some kids to enjoy Canada's national sport.

First off I would like to say that I agree totally with Mr. Denman's comments concerning the proposed games tax outlined in his letter dated March 11.

I have read many different dog stories in my community. I also have a shepherd lab cross who is very friendly.

I feel very sorry for Bob Mooney if he has gone through life with so little positive experience with performing arts that he sees it as just an elitist preoccupation (letters, Saturday, March 12).

Hello I'm living in a rural area north of town and have five acres outside of city limits. About three weeks ago my wife had a visit from an officer of the SPCA about our dog being on a chain.

I attended Theatre North West's, Doubt, A Parable. The story showed an interesting comparison, between the unflattering talk of ones friends or neighbours and the shredding of a feather pillow, scattering the feathers far and wide.

Canada's left wing, of which The Citizen has long been a member, must be truly desperate to make something stick to the Harper government when they take kids out of class to demonstrate against policies their adult cheerleaders don't like.

"Families first." The motto of our new premier. This government is going to be about putting "families first". Great news - if it is true. But it is a lot harder in politics to live up to ideals than it is to spout platitudes.
