Almost a year and a half after city council approved marketing Prince George as The Volunteer City: It's in our nature, I am curious to know if our community is living up to this new branding.

Earl Nightingale said, "Our rewards will always be in exact proportion to our service." I recently attended an event where I saw evidence of this statement in each person present.

Re: Prince George motorists. Shirley Olms' letter to the editor on Aug. 18 opened up a speeding issue that not only pertains to the Hart, it pertains throughout P.G.! Speeding coincides with noisy mufflers.

It has been said many times in different places that kids are hard to motivate.
