To the Citizens of Prince George: I am a former Prince George resident; I grew up in the Hart and I attended the University of Northern British Columbia for two years, before leaving for UVic.

I am writing this letter in response to the writer of "Deadbeat Dads." This letter really hit home for me as I am a father who pays his child support on time every month and still have issues with being able to visit my child on a regular basis.

I have prepared this letter in response to Roy Olsen's letter of March 9 "The link between gas and interest." Inflation (cost of living) - control targetting has been a cornerstone of monetary policy in Canada since its introduction in 1991.

I think Prince George residents should be asking a lot more questions about the Baldy Hughes treatment center. The sudden departure of Mr. Smith has not been explained very well.

I have thought many times about writing to the editor of our local paper regarding city council's actions and/or inactions on various issues. But when I read the "Games Tax OK'd" headline in March 1 Citizen, that was the last straw. All P.G.
