I was sure sorry to hear of the All Candidates Forum on April 18 at CNC in Prince George. Many calendars published in our part of the world clearly show that this is the eve of Passover.

For most of my life I have believed that Canada is a multicultural society. Different groups and tribes forming a society that is democratic. The majority rule but minority rights are protected. We all must abide by the same rule and laws.

This has been a sad situation in our city and many comments have been made with very little being known. The one thing that I felt I needed to comment on was that now the aboriginal community is up in arms, and possible rightly so.

In following the daily investigation by the Vancouver City Police on the tasering of an 11-year-old boy and some of the comments being made, I think it's important to recognize the incident prior to this boy being Tasered.
