I have serious disagreement with Todd Whitcome's Sept. 16 Eco-radicalization, a sensible option article, which proposes shutting down the Enbridge and Kinder Morgan oil export projects.

Gas prices are down by about 10 cents per litre across Prince George in the last week or so and more than a few residents are saying we can thank the opening of the Costco gas bar for that.

Last week I spoke a bit about some of the un-comforts of long flights. The long check-in lines, the security checks, belts off, shoes off, no liquids and while you're at it no bloody smiling either.

Sometimes it's best to just ignore the talk and just follow the money. It's not what people say they do, it's what they do with their hard-earned cash that reveals their true beliefs. Folks in southern B.C.

On Sept. 14 a fundraiser dinner and dance was put on to raise some money to help me. I am shocked and at the same time very thankful for the generosity of my friends, their friends and complete strangers for their donations to me.

What would happen if there was an air quality advisory during the Winter Games? I guess all the events would have to be held indoors where the air would be better (is it really?). That would be interesting for biathlon and ski aerials. But hey.
