A bylaw service threat, to fine residents in areas prone to bears, for putting out garbage earlier than 4 a.m., is biased. It is not appropriate to enforce rules in less than a fair and consistent manner.

I have just read one of the most fascinating headline stories, on Saturday, Sept. 28, that has ever printed in The Citizen. The story is not about politics or gang-related incidents. It's about a true fact of life.

All children have the right to grow to be responsible, contributing citizens in their own unique way.

The Citizen has run several stories in the past about how tough it is to get a doctor in Prince George. Local physicians are up to their proverbial eyeballs with patient lists and can't handle any more.
