It is 6:30 p.m. on Sunday and, despite numerous forcasts, it has yet to snow in Prince George. Considering snow was falling and sticking in October last year, that is quite an accomplishment. But let's face it, nothing lasts forever.

If you build a shed bigger than 108 square feet in the city of Prince George you need a permit. This permit used to be around $100, however the city upped their fees a year ago and now the fee is $300.

So glad to hear that you are raising monthly parking by 30 per cent Shari Green and city council. What is the matter with you people? Are you a business owner downtown Sheri? Health Canada employees park in prime customer parking on 3rd Ave.

These past few days, while getting the place ready for the impending winter, I had the great opportunity to taste three good red wines.

I have noted with some interest the increased ferocity of the senate scandal holding the forefront of Canadian news.
