One of Hockey Night in Canada's favourite hosts is paying a visit to Prince George next spring. Ron MacLean is hitting the road across Canada as part of the inaugural Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour presented by Scotiabank and Chrysler.

The Cariboo Cougars went undefeated in four pre-season games in Kelowna on the weekend as they tuned up for the 2014-15 regular season of the B.C. Hockey Major Midget League.

Carly Frenkel and Kirsten Ward, both 18, were named most outstanding senior athletes at the Prince George Track and Field Club's annual award ceremony on the weekend. Frenkel picked up 12 medals this season, seven of which were gold.
