It's no fluke Evan Bichon is about to make his Canadian national championship snowboarding debut. Bichon is headed to the 2012 Snowboard Speed Nationals in Nakiska, Alta., March 31 to April 3 after a first-place performance at the B.C.

This time, the Cariboo Cougars plan to be the ones celebrating. Tonight at the Burnaby Winter Club, the Cougars will play Game 1 of a best-of-three playoff championship series against the Vancouver Northwest Giants.
