Kings dump Rivermen in OT

Call the Prince George Spruce Kings the comeback kids. The Kings (8-4-1-1) only lead at the Langley Events Centre on Friday came when Mitch Eden found the back of the Langley Rivermen (5-5-0-2) net in overtime to give the visitors a 5-4 victory.

T-wolf men earn first CIS win on pitch

It was a lucky 13 for the UNBC Timberwolves men's soccer team. The T-wolves (1-13) earned the first soccer win in the CIS, Canada West conference, for UNBC with a 3-0 victory over the Mount Royal Cougars (4-8-1) on a snowy field in Calgary.

Condors have loftiest perch in rankings

In the double-A division, the Duchess Park Condors are now No. 1 in B.C. The Condors senior boys volleyball team ascended to the top of the provincial list after a third-place finish at last weekend's Best of the West tournament in Kelowna.

Free skating being offered

The Prince George Figure Skating Club is sending out an open invitation to its birthday party. Today at Kin 2, the club will celebrate its 56th year in the city. As part of the festivities, it will offer free skating for youngsters aged four to 12.

Rybachuk already measuring up in CIS
