The UNBC Timberswolves men's basketball team put the bite on the University of Manitoba Bisons in their first game of the season on Friday. The T-wolves spoiled the Bison's home opener in Winnipeg with a 77-71 victory.

Judo athletes golden at zones

Prince George judo athletes were masters of the mat at the B.C. Winter Games Zone 8 playdowns on the weekend. During the meet, held Saturday at the Northern Sport Centre, seven local judokas topped their weight categories.
