Asher, Lochlan and Maxwell Young, members of the North Capital Judo Club, battled to silver medals at a judo tournament in Steveston on the weekend. At the Saturday meet, all of them advanced to championship matches but fell short of victory.
Asher was competing in the under-30-kilogram class for U-12 junior boys, Maxwell was entered in the under-40kg category for U-14 junior boys and Lochlan was on the mats in the under-55kg division for U-14 junior boys.
