Prince George RCMP are investigating an incident allegedly involving a gun which took place at the College Heights Pub early Saturday morning. Shortly after midnight, police received a report that someone had brandished a firearm at the pub.

Unemployment, number of job seekers, going up
Prince George's unemployment rate increased slightly in May to 6.1 per cent, according to the latest information from Statistics Canada. In April the city's unemployment rate, based on a three-month rolling average, was 5.8 per cent.

stolen skid-steer
A skid-steer tractor and trailer were discovered to be stolen on Monday, taken sometime during that night. The equipment had been parked on a property on Bunce Road. The tractor is a yellow 2007 John Deere. Also taken were two bucket attachments.
