Motel room raided

A motel on Victoria Street was the site of an afternoon police bust. Drugs were found and two arrests made in one of the rooms. The two suspects were Prince George residents, a 21-year-old male and a 22-year-old female.

A motel on Victoria Street was the site of an afternoon police bust. Drugs were found and two arrests made in one of the rooms.

The two suspects were Prince George residents, a 21-year-old male and a 22-year-old female. Small quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana were located in the residence as well as a replica hand gun. Drug trafficking paraphernalia including scales and packaging were also located.

Both suspects were arrested and had a court date set for Sept. 28. They were then released on a set of conditions and promises to appear in court at the designated time.

The bust on the motel room came as a result of public information and police observation.
