Prince George RCMP are in need of the public's assistance to locate a missing youth. Kyler Stevens was last seen walking on 15th Avenue on Oct. 5 wearing a grey hoddie and grey track pants. All attempts to locate the 16-year-old have failed.

Now that they have a tentative deal with the provincial government, 2 1/2 years after their contract expired, UNBC support staff will vote this week on whether to accept it or not.

After 6 p.m. on Sunday, the Prince George RCMP were attempting to make an arrest near the corner of Strathcona Ave. and Norwood St. as part of an on-going investigation.

While trying to arrest the occupants of a vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation, police allege the driver accelerated towards an officer, resulting in a RCMP member discharging their sidearm at least once just after 6 p.m.

An attempt to stop a stolen truck resulted in a collision between an RCMP SUV and the stole vehicle Sunday morning. RCMP Staff Sgt. Bill Hudyma said the officer spotted the stolen white Ford F-250 4x4 at approximately 9:30 a.m.
