Drug bust leads to sentence

A police raid of a suspected drug house has resulted in a nine-month conditional sentence for Peter Douglas Pettigrew. Pettigrew was arrested Dec. 8, 2011 when police executed a search warrant on a 1200-block Burden Street home.

Jail time issued for sexual interference

A man has been sentenced to 90 days in jail and three years probation for two counts of sexually interfering with young people. Terry Jackson, 26, is also banned from being in the presence of a child for 10 years.
