Wildfire slows traffic on Highway 97 North

A forest fire has periodically reduced traffic to single-lane alternating along Highway 97 southwest of Chetwynd, according to DriveBC. Drivers are urged to watch for crews for an eight-kilometre stretch between Powder King Road and Old Hasler Road.
