Sunday heat record setting
The thermometer reached a record-setting high on Sunday. It peaked at 33.1 C, according to an Environment Canada measurement, eclipsing the old record for July 29 of 32.7 C, reached in 1998. Highs on Friday and Saturday were 33.1 and 31.
