A Cariboo wildfire evacuee from Williams Lake has been reported missing. David Michael Jeff, 67, has not been seen since being in Kamloops on Aug. 4. Jeff was among the many residents from Williams Lake who were evacuated on July 15.

Prince George Fire Rescue put out a fire early Monday morning on the 1900 block of Upland Street. At approximately 4 a.m., firefighters found an older model Winnebago motorhome engulfed in flames and spreading to a nearby dwelling.

Attack has RCMP on lookout

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for a weekend attack. On Friday, at approximately 8:15 a.m., Prince George RCMP responded to a report of an assault with a weapon on Queensway near Moyie Street.
