Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for a weekend attack.
On Friday, at approximately 8:15 a.m., Prince George RCMP responded to a report of an assault with a weapon on Queensway near Moyie Street.
According to police, a male was found suffering from a slash to his leg from an edged weapon.
The male was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police say that the victim and an adult female were walking in the area when they were confronted by another male and female.
An argument ensued and the victim was injured by the male suspect. The motive is unknown at this time and it appears that the suspects and victims were unknown to each other.
The suspects were not located.
The male suspect is described as Caucasian, heavy build, below average height, short blond hair and beard, and was wearing grey clothing. The female suspect is Caucasian, heavy build, approximately 5’6” with dark sandy blond hair. She was wearing black pants and a black shirt with blue writing.
