The annual Wine Lovers' Dinner set a new fundraising record for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation this year.
The dinner, held on March 22 at the Coast Inn of the North, brought in $29,000 for the charitable organization, which raises money to purchase needed medical equipment in the service area of the University Hospital of Northern B.C.
This year the five-course meal was paired with wines from Kettle Valley Winery.
Since 2005 the annual dinner has raised more than $122,000 for the charity.
