The Prince George Spruce Kings now know their opponent in Fred Page Cup Finals

The Spruce Kings will host a team from the Okanagan for series start

The Prince George Spruce Kings now know who they'll go up against starting next Friday (Friday 12) at Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

It's the Vernon Vipers.

The Vipers defeated the Wenatchee Wild in five games, clinching the series with a 3-1 win last night (April 5) which also made them the Interior Division Champions.

The Spruce Kings are coming off back-to-back sweeps in the playoffs after sweeping the Chilliwack Chiefs in round one followed by a sweep in the second round against the Victoria Grizzlies.

This is the second consecutive year Prince George will play in the B.C. Hockey League (BCHL) Fred Page Cup Finals

The Spruce Kings had an amazing regular-season, finishing second in the BCHL with 84 points (39-13-1-5), and are the highest ranked club left in the playoffs.

The ‘Kings have yet to lose a game in their barn since the start of the post-season and will hope to maintain that energy in front of the home crowd while seeking redemption after losing to Wenatchee in five games in the 2018 Finals.

Tickets for the finals will go on sale Monday, April 8th at 10 AM both online and at the Spruce Kings office.
