Calgary police have recovered a car two Prince George men are accused of stealing.
The white Hyundai XG350 sedan was found last week in the city 789 kilometres southeast of Prince George, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said Tuesday.
Sameer Madhok, 40, and Mark Anthony Stewart, 30, remain on the run as does Eric Maurice Cardinal, 27, a Terrace resident believed to be with the other two.
But while the search for the three has been expanded to Alberta, Douglass said that should not stop any local people with information on them from contacting RCMP.
Madhok is described as South Asian with short black hair, black eyes, 180 cm (5'11") tall and weighing 91 kgs (200 lbs).
Stewart is described as Metis with brown hair, brown eyes, 183 cm (6') tall and weighing 82 kg (180 lbs).
And Cardinal is described as First Nations with brown hair, brown eyes and 185 cm (6'1) tall and weighing 83 kg (183 lbs).
Madhok and Stewart are both wanted on charges of theft of a motor vehicle, theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace.
Cardinal is wanted by the Terrace RCMP on charges of assault, theft under $5,000 and two counts of breach of undertaking.
