Six arrested, released after Prince George search warrant turns up drugs and ammunition

Police say cocaine and cash were also seized

Six people were taken into custody and then released pending further investigation after Mounties in Prince George executed an early morning search warrant (May 3). 

Cpl. Sonja Blom says Prince George RCMP and the North District Emergency Response Team performed a search warrant at a home in the 2100-block, Tamarack St

Blom says police seized a small amount of cocaine as well as cash from the property.

She adds different types of ammunition were also found and taken. 

Six people were arrested, taken into custody and then released pending further investigation. 

"During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Prince George RCMP remains committed to the safety and security of our community, which includes enforcement and prevention initiatives that combat the possession and sale of drugs in the city," Blom adds in the release.
