Shots fired near Connaught Hill Park believed to be targeted: Prince George RCMP

Suspects, victims sought by police as investigation continues

Police say an investigation is ongoing into reports of shots fired last night (April 30) as they believe it was targeted.

Prince George RCMP responded to the call around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday.

According to Mounties, the shots went off in an alley near 17th Avenue and Juniper Street, about one block away from Connaught Hill Park.

It’s believed two individuals pulled up into the alley, fired a shot, then fled the scene in a truck south on Queensway to Ferry Avenue.

The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured four-door Chevrolet pick-up.

Mounties are also looking for the suspects and any victims from the incident as they believe it was targeted.
