Unless you've got someplace to be, it might be best to stay inside Prince George.

A risk of frostbite is being reported by Environment Canada as the high for today (Feb. 2) is -19 C, but it'll feel like -35 C with the wind chill.

The morning will start with clear skies and 30 km/h winds and while no snow is in the forecast, the winter storm warning is still in effect.

The temperature will drop to -39 overnight as the dry Arctic air settles hovers over into the early hours of (Super Bowl) Sunday.

If you're travelling on Highway 97 north, the snow warning has been lifted for the Pine Pass, but an extreme cold warning is in the Peace River region.

A winter storm warning remains in effect for Highway 16 at the Alberta border.
