The white stuff is coming our way, Prince George!
A winter storm warning is in effect for the city and its surrounding areas, including Highway 97, the Pine Pass, Highway 16, and the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District.
Environment Canada is predicting 5 to 10 cm to start the morning, coupled with freezing rain and winds up to 15 km/h that will dip the temperature to -6 C.
Heavy snow should fly by the afternoon and evening of up to 10 cm with increased winds at 20 km/h, and gusting to 40.
The evening low will be -6 C and -13 C with the windchill.
