Re: Lousy sidewalks. I agree with Tina Steppler. One day I was on my way (in a motorized chair) to the hospital for my three-times-a-week treatment. An RCMP officer yelled at me to "Get on the sidewalk where you belong.

A sincere thank you to Serena Black for her July 24th, 2010 Saturday report, "Stop in the name of love" looking at violence and abuse in relationships. The scope and content of the article was excellent.

On behalf of the board of directors for the Prince George Youth Baseball, I would like to say we are proud of Prince George's youth ball players who participated in the provincial tournaments this past weekend.

We have lost our freedom of choice. Telus Mobility is charging $2 as of Sept. 21 for every paper bill sent out. The only way to not pay this extra money is to go have your bill sent by e-mail.

Hopefully Enbridge's oil spill in Michigan will be taken as a red alert by the citizens of Prince George and others along the proposed Enbridge pipeline route. We cannot afford to jeopardize our precious environment.

I would like to acknowledge Lois Bullock and her husband for being such outstanding people. Several weeks ago I lost my wallet while horseback riding on the snowmobile club trails in Pineview.
