Several years ago we had a referendum on a increase in our city taxes for the clearing of windrows in our driveways.

I compliment Tim Kalsbeck and Joan Schleich for their straight-forward letters of Nov. 1. I answered the city's invitation "to have my say" by giving my comments online. However, I am not sure who in city hall will read what I said.

Jack Knox Slightly Skewed OK, Steve Nash is out. There was that goofy story out of Phoenix that said he was quitting basketball to run for office back home in Victoria, but he quickly denied it. Too bad.
