Kin decision may be far reaching
I respect the three councillors who held their ground on their original position, but I suppose now we should be grateful to our mayor for saving the world so to speak. I can't wait to hear him pat himself on the back for a job well done.

Mayor looks like a bully
I watched the council meeting on June 27. Too bad it was not required viewing for all residents in Prince George. I watched our mayor force reconsideration of an issue that had the support of the majority of council.

Arena vote short-sighted
How incredibly short sighted to vote down the building of a new arena (regardless of whether we call it Kin 4 or a stand alone arena) in favour of tearing down Kin 1 and rebuilding it - especially since building a new arena had already been approved.

I have, over the years, supported Dan Rogers. When he ran for council and both times he ran for mayor; and several of the present councillors in the last election. I do know now that was the last vote they will ever get out of this house.

Our dad, Ivor Johnson, just recently spent three weeks in ICU at the University Hospital of Northern BC. We cannot thank Dr. Din, Dr. Johnston, Dr. Olson and the whole ICU team enough for all that you did for our dad.

Northern society godsend to needy
