As everyone is keenly aware teachers have demonstrated in various locations in protest of the Provincial Government's proposed Bill 22 - Education Improvement Act.

It is so obvious to the public that the government doesn't have the interests of the children, parents or teachers as their core value.

I am writing this letter in support of teachers in the public sector. They are highly motivated professionals committed to teaching B.C.'s most valuable resource, our children.

If you are frustrated by the B.C. teacher's job actions now, just imagine how frustrated you will be in 10 to 15 years with your under-educated child living in your basement at age 23 because all they can get is a "Mac" job, thanks to B.C.

Thank you very much to the man and woman who delivered hot stew to the teachers at John McInnis Centre and Peden Hill elementary school on Monday afternoon. The stew was delicious.
