Today I heard a taxpayer funded government ad on the radio extolling the virtues of the Learning Improvement Fund (LIF) that the government is proposing to answer for their contract stripping legislation of 2002 ruling illegal by the B.C.

This is a letter that's long overdue, but I would like to sincerely thank the people who came forward with their encouragement, support and generosity after my purse was stolen while shopping on Dec. 4.

It's very upsetting that we, as taxpayers, have no say in what schools get closed and with what the teachers have to put up with.

My son attended the March 6 Cougars/Thunderbirds hockey game with his grandparents. Matyas was so excited when a Seattle player pointed him out for the big stuffed animal he was giving away at the end of the game.
