A week before school is supposed to start, Prince George public school teachers were back on the job Monday. Unfortunately, their job since the middle of June has been to walk on picket lines, instead of teaching children.

I am often asked why I am so optimistic about the future. The reason is because the more I study life on this amazing planet, the more evidence I find that good is more powerful than evil.

Summer is quickly drawing to a close and that means many of the activities at some senior centres that took a summer break are already starting to return to their regular schedules.
