To MLA Mike Morris: I am a student of UNBC, and a supporter of "UNBC Students for FA.

I am a graduate student at the University of Northern British Columbia. I hold a graduate entrance scholarship from UNBC and a national graduate scholarship through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. I also have ADHD.

In light of The Citizen's coverage of Thursday's student rally, I would like to point out that UNBC students are not a hive-mind.

I have to say I was a bit surprised by your Math editorial. Not so much the math, that mean, median, mode and average thing is tricky, but the lack of information on the strike itself. I imagine many readers have lots of question in need of answers.

A story written about one celebratory day took only a few hours to write - and several years. The story I wrote pertaining to the city's 100th birthday was thanks to the efforts of many more deeply involved in Prince George history than I.

No one ever wants to be on strike; least of all the support staff of a sister union who are unable to cross the picket line to work but instead are on the line supporting their fellow union members.

Fear is, perhaps, the most powerful of all motivators. There are reasons for this which are deeply rooted in our evolution. (If you don't believe the human species evolved, you might want to stop reading right now.

Regarding the Supreme Court's ruling that Canadians have the right to have doctor-assisted suicide, and their directive to the federal government that within a year they must have enacted regulations for this ruling. I find this ruling surprising.
