Re: White Pride editorial. Many people are offended what you stated about white pride and so much emphasis on native rights and their culture. You have forgotten, this is a multicultural society and we all are equal and all should be treated equally.

More than three decades ago, the leaders of Canada's three main political parties believed women's issues were important enough to hold a special televised debate to discuss them before the federal election. It's the only time that it has happened.

So much has been written in the last week about the amazing images - and many more to come - sent back from the New Horizons spacecraft after its flyby of Pluto.

In response to Art Betke's letter, "Origin of life unclear." My heart goes out to you, Art. So many people don't even know why they are on this Earth. There are millions of us who know clearly the origin of life and I pray you will find the answers.

Sleep is a wonderful thing. In our society, however, I've noticed that if one sleeps during the day, it is seen in a negative light. Once children reach a certain age, they no longer want to take naps.
