Today it is hard to reach a real person on the phone. You press one for this, two for that etc. Then when you chose your option, you have to start all all over... or you get voice mail.

Many thanks and much appreciation to the women who found my wallet in the Parkwood Save On Foods washroom, on Tuesday, June 12th and turned it in to customer service. Great to see there are still honest people. Hats off and bouquets to you.

John Cummins should be wearing steel-toed boots because he is giving the B.C. Liberals exactly what it needs -- a forcefully applied kick in the pants.

Whatever one's moral stance on doctor-assisted suicide or whether doctors or family should decide when a patient comes off life-support systems, the debate still comes down to one nagging question.

I am writing this letter in regards to an incident that occurred while driving home from work on Thursday, June 14th. The time was about 10:15 pm.

I would just like to remind drivers out there, that red flashing lights on a school bus means stop. Every morning, my five-year-old son, as well as my stepson and nephews, cross Highway 16 West to board their bus.

Please take a few minutes out of your day either today or tomorrow between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
