Driving into work on Thursday I was listening to Governor Chris Christie's press conference about the unfolding scandal in New Jersey.

After surviving the Holiday season, I've been looking around for new wines to start the New Year.

Enough is enough. Who at city hall has their head in the sand, or should I say ice, in regards to the condition of our streets? If the ruts get any deeper I will not be able to get my car down my street.

A new year and some strange bedfellows have already emerged. Last year, I was critical on several occasions of Coun.

I was involved in a single vehicle accident on Dec. 30 on 5th Ave. with my fiances 4X4. The roads were covered with a foot of slush in the middle of the road, which made it impossible to change lanes.

I have been meaning to write this letter for some time; my pet peeve is individuals and you know who you are, that park in handicapped spaces when clearly you are not handicapped in any way.

I have never seen the lack of street plowing as severe as this year. This topic is foremost where ever you go. The side streets are in such a state that it's near impossible to drive them much less walk.
