For 34 hours this weekend, ultimate frisbee players across Canada will join forces on the field of play in the Great Canadian Ultimate Game. The coast-to-coast event starts today at 2 p.m. PT in St. John's, Nfld.

Keegan Craik has officially joined the Prince George Cougars. The six-foot-one, 155-pound forward signed a player agreement with the Cougars earlier this week, having been picked in the fifth round of the 2016 bantam draft, 97th overall.

The B.C. Taekwon-Do Cup is expected to bring 250 competitors to Prince George this weekend. The tournament, being hosted by Family Taekwon-Do, will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Duchess Park secondary school.

The news took Jordan Boudreau by complete surprise. In a good way. Boudreau, a 39-year-old Prince George resident, will represent Canada at the International Taekwon-Do Federation Pan American Championships, June 18-19 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
