Prince George gymnast Alia Wilson earned two silver medals Saturday at the 2013 Western Canadian Gymnastics Championship in Winnipeg.
In her final competition as a pre-novice aspire gymnast Wilson won the silver medal for her work on the balance beam and was seventh on floor, eighth on vault and 11th in the all around competition. Unfortunately Wilson had a mistake on the uneven bars costing her points.
Wilson also received a silver medal as Team B.C. finished second in the team rankings.
With the Western Canadian meet done, Wilson will now move up to the level 4 Tyro division for her next competition which will be in Kelowna at the end of May.
