In the spirit of giving, the students at many local schools have teamed up to help the less fortunate during the holiday season.
The 10th annual spirit of hockey and community cup game between students from College Heights and Prince George secondary schools will be held Friday, 1-2:30 p.m. at CN Centre. During the game the students from CHSS will collect donations for the Salvation Army while PGSS students will be collecting food for the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Students from both schools, and the elementary schools in their areas, are also looking to collect gloves, toques and socks.
