The Prince George Spruce Kings will both start and finish their 2022-23 regular season with games on the road.

The team’s home opener will be on Sept. 30 against the Vernon Vipers, kicking off a four-game homestand at the Coliseum. The weekend before, the Kings will start their regular season campaign with games in Coquitlam and Langley.

The Kings will likely be celebrating New Year’s at the Canada/U.S. border crossing in Osoyoos, after playing two road games against the Wenatchee Wild on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31.

As announced earlier this week, the Kings will play two games at the Tom Forsyth Memorial Arena in Burns Lake, on the traditional territory of the Ts'il Kaz Koh First Nation, against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Feb. 18 and 19, for the Family Day long weekend.

The Silverbacks will be back in the region a month later – on March 17 and 18 – for the final two home games of the regular season at the Coliseum for the Kings.

The Kings will finish the regular season with a pair of games on March 24 and 25 in the Kootenays against the Cranbrook Bucks.
