The junior development meet was the provincial championship for athletes ages 9 to 13.
Two other medals were won by PGTF athletes.

Sylvia and Olivia Masich also competed in provincials; 13-year-old Sylvia cracked the top-10 in the hammer throw, while Olivia, 10, made the top-10 in high jump.
The next meet for the PGTF athletes is the 2014 Canadian Legion Youth (16-and-under) Track and Field championships Aug. 15 to 17 in Langley.
