The junior girls from Black Diamond Lanes rolled to gold last week in the Lower Mainland against competition from across Canada at the Youth Bowling five-pin Championship.
Members of the gold-medal winning team were Kassidy Johnson, Megan Reimer, Lezzyl Aquino and Paige Meise.
Black Diamond also had bowlers in the senior girls team event and were represented in the junior boys single competition. The senior girls team of Deanna Montgomery, Caitlin Oakley, Jenny Browne and Tiana Tecson placed eighth, while Jordan Arnett was 10th among junior boys.
