The Cariboo Cougars snapped a two-game losing streak with an 8-4 win over the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds in Abbotsford in a Saturday matinee.
A trio of Cougars - Ryan Forbes, Brad Morrison and Braiden Epp - tallied a pair of goals each to stake their B.C. Major Midget League team to a potential sweep of its final road games before the Christmas break. The Cougars (16-5) and Thunderbirds (4-14-2) face off again Sunday.
