The Westwood Pub Devils' record remains unblemished on the lacrosse floor, even after a wild affair against the B.X. Pub Bandits Wednesday night at Kin 1.
The Devils defeated the Bandits 12-5 in the Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association in a contest that featured 173 penalty minutes dished out to the two teams.
With the win, the Devils improved to 11-0 and clinched first place in the league, while the Bandits, suffering their third loss of the season, are now 8-3 and sit in second place with 16 points.
Cameron Braun led the way for the Devils, collecting a pair of goals to go along with four assists. Scott Anderson had two goals and two assists, while Blake McIntosh and Andre Baldo each collected a goal and two assists. Danton Nicholson had a four-point night with a goal and three assists. Rounding out the scoring were Parker Woolcox, Steve Clayton and Pierce Watson with one goal each.
For the Bandits, Damon Calfa was the top scorer with two goals and an assist, while Grant Stubley, Steven Kidwell and Nick Angus each netted a goal.
The Devils now take on the Northland Nissan Assault Monday (8 p.m.) at Kin 1. The first round of the playoffs begins June 29.
