Devils continue hot streak

The Westwood Pub Devils tightened their grip on first place in the Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association on the road Thursday with a 13-4 victory over the host Quesnel Employment Services Crossfire.

The Westwood Pub Devils tightened their grip on first place in the Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association on the road Thursday with a 13-4 victory over the host Quesnel Employment Services Crossfire.

The Devils remain undefeated this season and have sole possession of top spot with a 10-0 record and 20 points.

Thursday night at Twin Arenas in Quesnel, Andrew Sivell led the Devils charge with three goals and two assists, while Cameron Braun netted two goals and three helpers.

Nathaniel McFayden and Steven Clayton each picked up a pair of goals, along with two assists each.

For the Crossfire, Bryston Waffle led the way with two goals.

The Devils will take on the BX Pub Bandits Wednesday night at Kin 1 (8 p.m.).

The Bandits are in second place in the league with an 8-2 record and 16 points.

But, prior to that game, the Cowboy Ranch Stylers will take on the Northland Nissan Assault Monday at 8 p.m. at Kin 1.
