The top two teams from the regular season will clash for the Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association playoff championship.

The best-of-seven series between the Westwood Pub Devils and Claude's Barbershop/BX Pub Bandits will start on Thursday at 8 p.m. at Kin 1. The Bandits booked their spot in the final when they edged the Northland Nissan Assault 10-8 on Monday night. With the win, the Bandits took the best-of-three semifinal 2-0.

Monday's game was tight throughout. The Bandits trailed 2-1 after the first period and the teams were tied 6-6 after the second. The Bandits outscored the Assault 4-2 in the third period to seal the victory.

Offensively, Cole Paciejewski led the Bandits with four goals and four assists. Carson Toth added three goals for the winners, while Drew Doig, Brett Doig and Damon Calfa finished with singles.

Dave Jenkins Jr. paced the Assault with three goals and four helpers. Assault goals also came from Josh Kelly (2), Dom Sia, Jared Huston and Nathan Stokes.

The Devils, meanwhile, wrapped up their semifinal against the Quesnel M. Daniels Consulting Crossfire last Thursday with a 10-7 win. That best-of-three semifinal was also a sweep.
