Update: Man killed in collision east of city

A man was killed Friday morning in a collision with a tractor-trailer unit east of the city. Prince George RCMP, who were called to the scene at 10 a.m., said the collision occurred on Highway 16 near Purden, about 40 kilometres east of the city.
