Another cabin goes up in flames at Cluculz Lake

Another cabin at Cluculz Lake has gone up in flames and it's right beside the one that was destroyed by fire a week ago Thursday. The fire started at about 6:30 a.m. and it completely destroyed the cabin immediately east of the cabin on Meier Road.

HST hikes parking rate at CNC

HST is to blame for an increase of the parking rate at the College of New Caledonia beginning Sept. 1. The daily meter rate will go up by a quarter. Monthly rates for students and employees are $35+HST or $39.20.
