Slippery road accident

Foothills Boulevard and Highland Drive was the scene of a slippery road accident about 8 a.m. Monday. RCMP said a north bound van slid out of control and hit a south bound vehicle head on, forcing one of the vehicles into the ditch.

Canada Zinc Metals Corp. says it has been advised by Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holdings Co. Ltd. that the Chinese company has received regulatory approval to make a further investment in the Canadian zinc junior mining company.
